More Gorey pressure but then our forwards bagan to take control.A good ball was produced for first centre Jack Stafford to kick cross field to put Kevin Mahoney over in the corner.
It was now a forwards battle;boths side driving, rucking and mauling. Then scrum-half Andrew Maguire made a half break, the pack followed out and scored a push-over try ,last to surface was Luke Lacey.Score at half time 5 --17 .
Wexford started where they left off Matt Doyle gave a glorious pass to Joe O'Connor who ran through the Gorey defence to touch down Luke Lacey converted .Then all went wrong wexford conceeded 3 trys . Ball handling and over elaboration to the fore.
